Two weeks ago Le Coq Sportif hosted an in-store event to promote the launch of their new Concept store in Covent Garden, London, which we were kindly invited to attend.

After we were done taking pictures we indulged in the extremely tasty food that was downstairs, alongside some beer of course, and then had a good browse around the store checking out their current collection. Later on in the evening we found out that the French brand is 130 years old this year , making it one hell of an old company with a lot of history behind it and to celebrate this they unveiled a sculpture of bicycle tires made by the Wilson brothers representing the brands long term cycling heritage.

The store space is huge, 30,000 sq feet, however they’ve made use of the space perfectly with a mix of footwear and clothing on both floors, men’s upstairs and women’s downstairs. over time they will be stocking a selection of widely available as well as limited edition products, such as the Heimstone collaborative womens Eclats that are currently available in-store and are limited to 178 pairs worldwide.

Le Coq Sportif has definitely caught our interest over the last 6 months and with their Sneaker Freaker collab not too far away we’re sure that they’ll gain a fair few more fans after that.

You can find the store at:
20-23 Earlham Street (On the corner of the Seven Dials), London, WC2.
